Welcome to Copenhagen! Arriving early is highly recommended to make the most of your first day. Start your exploration by visiting the iconic pastel-coloured waterfront houses in Nyhavn. Enjoy a drink at one of the industrial-chic bars or take a leisurely stroll through the famous Tivoli Gardens, home to the world’s oldest rollercoaster. Another notable area to explore is Nørrebro, a vibrant residential district renowned for its diverse range of restaurants.

The adventure kicks off with a welcome meeting at 6:00 PM. Please check the hotel lobby or inquire at the reception for the location of the meeting. Learn about the everyday struggles of the locals and their unwritten street rules. The afternoon is free to explore the city further. You may wish to visit the majestic Amalienborg Palace, the Marble Church (Frederik's Church), or the National Museum. In the summer, locals enjoy cooling off in the free harbor baths, which you can visit as well.

Take a scenic morning train ride to Malmo in Sweden, crossing the famous Oresund Bridge that links Denmark and Sweden. Your leader will guide you through Malmö’s Old Town, sharing its rich history. The city has undergone a significant transformation in the past two decades, thanks in part to the bridge and the establishment of Malmö University. Afterward, continue to Gothenburg by train or bus, where you'll spend the night.

Enjoy an early ferry ride to Vrango Island, the southernmost island of the Gothenburg Archipelago. With a population of just a few hundred, Vrango is known for its fishing industry, stunning beaches, and protected nature reserves. Depending on the season, you can participate in a kayaking excursion (May–September), or enjoy an extended guided island tour. Afterward, return to Gothenburg for a free evening.

Today is free for you to explore Oslo at your leisure. Visit the iconic Oslo Opera House, stroll through Vigeland Park, or take a ferry to the Viking Ship Museum. In the evening, join your new group for drinks or dinner and get to know your fellow travelers.
Your group leader will take you on another orientation walk, after which you’ll have free time to explore. You may want to embark on island hopping across Oslofjord, visit the Astrup Fearnley Museum, or explore Akershus Castle & Fortress. Alternatively, visit the Grunerløkka district, known for its cool shops and street art.
