Return to your hotel and enjoy a leisurely afternoon.
After breakfast, set out on a memorable boat tour to the abandoned settlement of Kangeq, once a thriving fishing village until the 1980s. The hour-long journey will take you past breathtaking coastal landscapes, with opportunities to spot seals, whales, and Arctic wildlife along the way.
At Kangeq, explore the haunting remains of abandoned homes while your guide recounts the political decisions of the 1950s and 1960s that led to the depopulation of these villages. Learn about Aron of Kangeq, an Inuit hunter and artist famous for chronicling Greenland’s myths and folklore.
Return to Nuuk and relax at your hotel.
Today begins with a full-day adventure to the magnificent Eqip Sermia Glacier, one of Greenland’s most active calving glaciers:
Depart from Ilulissat Harbour by boat
Witness towering ice walls more than 200 metres above sea level
Option to hike to the glacier’s moraine or admire it from the comfort of the boat
Enjoy a scenic lunch and coffee break during the tour
After this unforgettable experience, return to Ilulissat and spend the evening at your leisure.
Following breakfast, join a two-hour guided walking tour through the historic town of Ilulissat. Explore key sites such as:

Spend the morning at leisure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may explore a bit more of Ilulissat or relax at the hotel. Later, transfer to Ilulissat Airport for your onward flight or next adventure.
